Runco Announces 2005 Expo "Stars of Home Theater" Fundraiser

Platinum Corporate Sponsor Asks Dealers and Partners to Join in Raising Additional Support for Non-Profit Charity

August 1, 2005 - Hollywood, CA

Runco International, premier manufacturer of video projectors and display devices, has announced a fundraising event coinciding with the 2005 CEDIA Expo convention. Called the "Stars of Home Theater", the fundraiser features "Celebrity Stars" that will be featured in the Runco booth at Expo. Persons or companies can get their name inscribed on one of the 120 Stars by making a $125 donation directly to the Elf Foundation.

"We thought it would be a neat thing to do, since our booth's theme this year is Hollywood inspired," said CEO Sam Runco. "We'll have all of the "Celebrity Stars" on display right next to the Red Carpet, just like they do at the Oscars each year in Hollywood."

"Celebrity Stars" are limited to the first 120 individuals or companies who make a direct donation to the Elf Foundation. This special fundraiser will result in an additional $15,000 in donations to support Elf's mission of bringing the magic of music and film to sick kids across the country via their "Room of Magic" entertainment theater designs.
